Cookie Policy

Packlet uses browser storage for preferences and may use analytics or advertising technologies only when they are configured for the site.

What cookies are

Cookies and similar browser technologies allow a site or connected services to store small pieces of technical data in the browser. Packlet does not need cookies to read, create, extract, or compress files.

Cookies and storage Packlet may use

  • Essential cookies are not currently required for the core file workflows.
  • Analytics cookies may be used when web analytics is enabled to understand page traffic and broad usage patterns.
  • Advertising cookies may be used by ad networks if advertising blocks are enabled on the site.
  • Local browser storage may be used to keep theme preferences, tool settings, or a saved workspace session on the user's device.

File data

Cookies must not be used to store file contents, archive contents, file names, relative paths, or processing results. These data belong to local browser processing and should not be passed to analytics or advertising integrations.

Managing cookies

You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies should not prevent Packlet from creating ZIP archives, extracting supported archives, or compressing supported files.

To remove a saved Packlet workspace session, use the clear action in the interface or delete site data in the browser.
